These terms apply to Dreadcam ("the App", "we"). By using the App you accept them.
1. What the App is
Dreadcam is an entertainment app. It makes an image that looks like security-camera footage of your photo, with a blurred figure added far behind. The figure is not real. The images are not real footage and are not evidence of anything. Every image is labelled "AI-generated image" and you must not remove or hide the label when sharing.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Do not upload photos of children.
3. Your photos and your responsibility
Only upload photos you own or have permission to use, and only photos of people who have agreed to appear in them.
Do not use the App to harass, frighten, deceive or defame anyone, to make sexual or nude content, or to pass the results off as real.
Photos are checked automatically. We may refuse a photo, remove a result, or block a device that breaks these rules.
You keep your rights in your photos. You allow us to process them to make your result, as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Free picture and purchases
You get one free picture per device. The free result is shown with a watermark at reduced quality. It cannot be saved from the App (saving and screenshots are blocked), but the watermarked preview can be shared. There is no free trial.
Paid options, bought through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android): a single picture (one-time, for one picture), weekly unlimited (a subscription that renews every week until you cancel), and, on Android only, unlimited until 31 October (a one-time purchase that ends at the end of 31 October 2026, UTC; not offered on iOS).
Prices are shown in the App in your currency before you buy.
Cancel a subscription in the App Store (iOS: Settings, your name, Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Android: Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel it.
Refunds are handled by the App Store or Google Play, whichever you bought from, under its policies. Use "Restore purchases" in the App if you reinstall or change device.
5. Availability
The service depends on third-party providers and may be limited or stopped, for example when a daily limit is reached, without notice.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or that results will look as you expect, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept it.
